Installing The Deadbolt Lock

  1. Measure and mark the spot for the deadbolt.
  2. Drill two holes, one for the deadbolt cover and one for the deadbolt.
  3. Insert the deadbolt cover and secure with Phillips head screws.
  4. Insert the deadbolt into the hole and secure with Phillips head screws.
  5. Align the stem of the deadbolt to the bolt cover.
  6. Turn the key to test if the deadbolt works properly.
  7. Once the deadbolt is secure, remove the key and you’re done!
